Y2Q Five Years Away or Just Around the Corner?
Y2Q-01
For more than a decade, the industry has repeated the phrase, "Quantum is five years away." Yet during that same period, quantum computing capabilities have advanced steadily, investment has surged into the billions, and governments and private industry have accelerated development efforts. So what is the real timeline, and more importantly, what should enterprises be doing today? This opening session examines the current state of quantum computing, separating hype from reality.

Can We HNDL the Truth? How Vulnerable is Our Existing Encryption Solution Today?
Y2Q-02
The threat isn't waiting for a future quantum computer. It's already underway. Does the growth of “Harvest Now, Decipher Later” HNDL represent a clear and present danger? Do the systems we use today have a path forward? Who is providing new innovations and how are they recommending we migrate? This session examines the real-world implications of HNDL, identifies which cryptographic systems are most vulnerable, and explores the emerging technologies and migration strategies being recommended by security leaders.

The Finalized NIST PQC Standards and Federal Deployment Mandates
Y2Q-03
The US government has prioritized the discovery of cryptography with the plan to replace these systems with post quantum PKI improvements. This is followed by identity management systems. Using the updated guidelines in FIPS 203, 204 and 205. This session provides a practical review of the finalized NIST Post-Quantum Cryptography standards, including FIPS 203, 204, and 205, and examines the federal mandates and timelines that are driving adoption across government agencies and critical industries.

There is a Solution: Building for the Future Today
Y2Q-04
A sufficiently powerful quantum computer could solve mathematical problems that classical computers cannot solve efficiently. The remedy that National Institute of Standards and Technology has developed to address the threat of quantum computers breaking today’s encryption is called Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC). Embedded in PQC is the concept of Cyber-Agility designing encryption methods that can be swapped quickly in the future. This session explores Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) and the emerging concept of cryptographic agility—the ability to rapidly adapt encryption technologies as new threats and standards emerge.

Mosca's Theorem and Calculating Your Enterprise Risk Runway
Y2Q-05
Risk is often subjective based on personal attitudes rather than known facts. However, there are some objective measurements that can be made which should be used to realistically evaluate risk. Mosca's Theorem provides one of the most practical frameworks for understanding quantum risk. Simply stated: if the time required to migrate your organization to quantum-safe security exceeds the time remaining before quantum computers can compromise your encryption, then you are already behind schedule. Learn how to estimate their organization's quantum risk runway and determine whether immediate action is required to protect long-lived data assets.

Large-Scale Software Dependency Discovery and Network Performance Impact
Y2Q-06
Here is some good news, discovering your data’s vulnerability is easier than ever thanks to AI-powered tools. The bad news is that you may discover flaws that need to be updated. Whatever the result, the impact of quantum security threats is the decision to stay vigilant and continue to monitor and prioritize PQC security solutions.

Thwarting the 'Harvest Now, Decrypt Later' (HNDL) Infrastructure Threat
Y2Q-10
The uncomfortable reality is that sensitive data may already be leaving your organization. What can we do to block the collection and storage of our encrypted data? Is the solution to simply hurry up and implement PQC or are there measures that can prevent copies of our data being gathered and stored? This session explores practical strategies for reducing HNDL exposure.
